Iz naslova je dosta toga jasno, nitrat remover znaci i to uz pomoc zavojnice. Zasto zavojnice, pa ako vodu pustimo (dovoljno sporo) kroz 20m dugu cijev (malog presjeka) nastanjenu bakterijama, na kraju cijevi nece vise biti kisika u vodi jer ce b. sve pojesti. Kad tu vodu bez kisika provucemo kroz bio ballse na kojima zive anaerobne bakt. koje vole jesti nitrat, na izlazu dobijemo vodu sa smanjenom koncentracijom nitrata (usput i bez kisika). je netko ovak nekaj pokusao napraviti.
Meni je super
ideja jer se na dosjetljiv i jednostavan nacin dobiju uvjeti slicni DSB-u ali
ovdje ne postoji mogucnost akumuliranja stetnih tvari, sto se moze desiti u
pijesku.
Naravno i ovdje
postoje lose pojave u slucaju presporog i prebrzog protoka i sl. Voda se nakon
obrade prije ubacivanja u aq. mora aerirati itd. jer nema u njoj kisika itd.
Bez obzira na sva cuda problema koji mogu nastati, meni se ideja svidja, skroz mi ima smisla i nije stvarno komplicirana izrada, tak da si mislim da cu jednog sloziti u skorije vrijeme.
Zanima me da li je netko sto slicno radio, vjerujem da je, pa ako moze sto predloziti ili savjetovati da bas ne trosim vrijeme za izradu beskorisnih napravica da se cude vrane na jakusevcu.
Ovdje je jedan od
boljie opisanih modela koje sam nasao i sve je dosta jasno, pa si malo pogledajte ako vec do sada niste tak nekaj susreli.

In reef and fish only aquariums a nitrate level is desired. One way to lower
the nitrates is frequent water changes and following a feeding routine that
leans toward the theory "Less is better". Many marine salt
manufacturers endorse this method. One wonders... why? Salt!
Another way to reduce nitrates is to utilize nitrate as food for Natural
Nitrate Reduction (NNR). This is accomplished by buying a commercial or DIY
denitrator. Our coil denitrator is feed oxygen rich water via a pump. This O2
rich water enters the top of the unit and is then forced to spiral down through
the coiled tubing, (usually 1/4"), until exiting within the bottom center
of the chamber. As the water level increases within the body of the unit, the
Bio-Balls soon become host to millions of colonies of bacteria that proceed to
multiply. As the water reaches the top of the chamber, it exits through the
output fitting, not internally fitted to the coiled tubing.
Basically, as the water makes it way down through the coiled tubing, the O2
(oxygen) is consumed by the AEROBIC (nitrosomonas & nitrobacter) bacteria,
the same ones that are in your filter plumbing and walls of the tank. These
bacteria convert ammonia into nitrite and then into nitrate. This process uses
O2 and the levels of O2 diminishes. <
